Stats and health
The status bar at the bottom shows your frame rate, render time and health (Healthy, or the current problem). Click it to open Stats.
Updated every second, with the last five minutes drawn as small graphs:
- Canvases: frame rate against the target, render time, skipped frames.
- Encoders: frames, frames dropped before encoding, bitrate, which encoder, audio gaps.
- Streams: bitrate, frames dropped by the network, send delay, reconnects.
- This PC: processor (Clutch and total), memory, graphics card load, free space on the recording drive.
Alerts
Section titled “Alerts”When something goes wrong for more than a few seconds, Clutch tells you in plain words, with advice:
| Alert | Usually means |
|---|---|
| Rendering lag | The graphics card is too busy (often the game). |
| Encoder overload | The encoder can’t keep up: try a lighter profile. |
| Network trouble / reconnecting | The upload can’t carry the bitrate. Lower it, or use a cable. |
| High CPU or GPU | Your PC is running at its limit. |
| Low disk space | The recording drive is filling up (shown in GB and minutes left). |
| Audio dropped out | Sound had gaps in a recording or stream, usually because the processor is busy. |
Alerts clear by themselves once things are calm again.
