Montages

Open Montages in the sidebar and click New montage.

  1. Pick what goes in: clips from your library, and/or Highlights from recordings. Click Scan on a recording to find its highlights: game events saved while recording, and loud moments in its sound.
  2. Choose how it’s made:
    • Length, for example 60 seconds;
    • Format: 16:9 (YouTube), 9:16 (Shorts, TikTok) or 1:1 (square);
    • Order: as they happened, or best first;
    • Slow motion on aces and big multi-kills;
    • an optional opening title;
    • Music: pick a song and the cuts snap to its beats.
  3. Click Create montage.

The editor shows a preview and a timeline. You can trim and move segments, split (S), delete (Del), add a title at the playhead, change transitions, and set the music’s volume, fades and how much it ducks under the clips’ own sound.

Keys: Space play, J K L shuttle, ← → step a frame, Ctrl+Z undo.

If a clip’s file was moved, click Find their folder…: every missing clip found there comes back.

Pick an export preset: YouTube (1080p60), Shorts / TikTok (1080 × 1920), or the same as the montage. Then click Export. The montage is saved to the Montages folder in your recording folder. Turn on Add to clips to have it show up in your clip library too.
